Although Alcudia is not famous for its nightlife it is a great place to enjoy yourself after dark. Local knowledge is the key and knowing where to go can make the difference to a great night out. Here are some of our recommendations for places to go when the sun goes down and sometimes leave when the sun comes back again!

 Top 3 reccomendations of Nightlife in Alcudia:

1- Bananas Disco complex

This complex is in the port of Alcudia and is one of the liveliest in the area. There are several bars and clubs including La Nit, Apple, Cinq Glops, Banana Bar, Unik and the large discotheque with the glass pyramid. During the weekends this place is very busy, as locals come from the neighbouring towns and from as far as Palma for the organised parties.

2 – The marina area

The area in the Port of Alcudia is great area to go out before heading to Bananas Disco complex. There are plenty of chic restaurants to have something to eat, and then there are a few chill out bars that are great for relaxing and chilling with the friends. Or you could stay in the port all night having fun at the many Irish bars in the area, such as Shamrock, which is more popular with locals than tourists.

3 – Magalluf night out

If you are looking for a great night out in the Party resort of Magalluf, an option is to join the Magalluf Party bus that runs every Wednesday leaving the Alcudia resort at around 20:00 and getting back at around 06:00.

What will you find at Bananas Disco Complex:

• La Nit

This is a modern bar and gets a trendy crowd, they often have a long queue at the door, not because its full we think but to create an atmosphere of exclusivity.

• Banana club

This is very popular with teenagers and the younger crowd, there is a terrace outside so its popular with the smokers.

• 5 Glops

This is a locals bar and they play a selection of salsa and latin dance music, one of the bar men “Rodrigo” is a dance teacher and he often gives tips on salsa and maybe even a lesson if you ask him nicely.

Dollar Street area – Avenida Pedro Mas y Reus street:

This is the busiest place in Alcudia and it has something for everybody. Whether you’re on a family holiday, travelling with your partner or on a group holiday with your friends, you’ll find great entertainment and fun to be had on this bustling strip. Dollar Street and the surrounding area is full of pubs and bars that put on live bands, karaoke and quiz nights to keep holidaymakers of all ages entertained.

Goodfellas bar
This is one of the most popular and busy bars in Alcudia, The staff Stu and Richie give a warm welcome to all their customers. They specialise in cocktails and have a long list of favourites

 

Some other interesting places for nightlife in Alcudia:

• Shamrock Bar
  This is an Irish bar in the heart of the port of Alcudia. In the summer it is very popular, with live music at the weekend with the Hustlers and during the week there is always a lively atmosphere. Very popular with locals and Spanish owned and run, you will always get a warm welcome in the Shamrock.

• The Irish tavern
  This establishment can be found in the port of Alcudia in the pedestrianised area. The bar sells itself as of Irish origins but the sale of Guinness and the green sign above the door are as far as the Irish ness goes. Its very popular with tourists as they have a lively terrace.

Menta night club:

Menta is the biggest nightclub in the north west of Mallorca, and serves locals and tourists staying in Pollenca, Alcudia and along Playa de Muro.

Spectacular dance floor equipped with the latest technology in sound and lighting, gigantic LED screens and lasers. It has 3 bars on the first floor and a 4th on the mezzanine, as well as various stages used by go-go dancers or artists that you can also use when they are available.

Beautiful terrace with an open pool, perfect for special events, has own bar, shower and change rooms. There is also the possibility of renting this space for private events or parties. It’s a typical resort nightclub, and don’t forget to go late (3am onwards) to get the best atmosphere!
