S’Illot Beach

In La Victoria, a unique natural setting, with a splendid view over Formentor and the Bay of Pollensa, you’ll find a little grey pebble beach with a double arch shape130-metre long and 15-metre wide.

Sandy or pebble beach?
This beautiful cove has the shape of two half moons, with gravel and pebbles of a greyish colour, and a pine wood at the rear. The coast can join the small island because of the sediments of a torrent that flows into the sea in this area after a period of intense rain.

S’Illot beach is ideal for?
S’Illot is the name of this beach, named after the little islet (Illot in Catalan) that protects this place from the northern wind, the Tramuntana. It’s a marvellous place to do canoeing, snorkelling and scuba diving because of its fanciful seabed and those green shades of the water. There’s a charming picnic area within a few metres with chairs, tables and grills.

Around S’Illot beach?
Within a walking distance there is a summer camp, a youth hostel, two car parks and a restaurant bar open from April to October. There are also plenty of picnic tables. Two kilometres away, in the Cocodrilo marina, there’s a sailing, scuba diving and snorkelling school.

How to get to S’Illot beach?
The accessibility by car is easy following the signs until Albergue de la Victòria, built next to this cove. The private car can be left on a free parking area at this point.

Tip 1:
Just on the left area of the car park, there is a very secluded cove. It is almost difficult to see that there is a path down there.
